Allocation Module
Overview
The Allocation Module aka The Operational Balancing Account module covers the following needs of TAGTAŞ.
•Keeping logs of the OBA for the entrance and exit of the TAGTAŞ gas pipeline,
•Informing the dispatcher about the approach to the limits of the established values of the OBA,
•Forecasting the OBA until the end of the gas day,
•Manual data entry
Operational Balancing Account is a continuous balancing account between system operators to be used to manage steering differences at an interconnection point.
Target is business processes such as calculating Daily OBA, signaling OBA accomplished, downloading and printing reports of OBA by the end of Gas Day and hourly forecast etc.
In this module, Hourly, Daily and Monthly OBA values are calculated for the relevant operator based on the NOMINT and last RENOMINATION values of the relevant gas day and the SCADA data of the relevant point. By the way, OBA logs are kept for the entrance and exit of TAGTAŞ natural gas pipeline as well.
3 basic operations are executed in this module. These are,
•Receive “Daily Fact Values” from SCADA or providers (Upstream and Downstream)
•Calculate Daily OBA
•Calculate Hourly OBA
